How do I start using Synergy?

How much does a monthly Synergy subscription cost?

Synergy is free to use for the first 30 days. Once this free trial period ends, the subscription fee varies depending on the plan you choose — Business or Enterprise.

 

Check out our plan page for the latest information. You can change plans or cancel at any time — no lock in contracts or sneaky fine print about monthly pricing paid 12 months up front.

How easy is it to change plans?
You can change plans within Synergy at any time, even during your trial. We don’t like locking people into anything — plans, contracts, software or storerooms. Just login to Synergy and go to your subscription page (see Organisation > Subscription) and hit the change button. There’s also a shortcut on your Synergy dashboard for easy access.
Can users within my organisation be on different plans?

No. All users added to your organization must be on the same plan – Business or Enterprise.

Can I share my subscription?

No. Subscriptions are for individual users and can’t be shared between people. Once you have a subscription you can add other Synergy users to your organization, accept invitations to join other organizations and/or share information with other Synergy users.

Does Synergy work on a Mac?

Yes. Pure cloud software, like Synergy, gives you the freedom to choose the device your heart desires. It works on any internet browsing device —smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Windows. Don’t you just love modern technology?

Is Synergy only available in Australia?

Synergy is available anywhere you can freely access the internet. Our HQ is Sydney, Australia but we also have offices in the United Kingdom and the USA. People across the globe can use Synergy — all you need is an internet connection and an internet enabled device like a smartphone, tablet or laptop/desktop.

Is Synergy a new product?
Total Synergy has been around since 1999. We have built Synergy from the ground up on a pure cloud platform (Microsoft Azure) to provide a better, more modern alternative to traditional on-premises software. We’re a currently a Microsoft Gold Application Partner.
What do you mean by 'pure cloud' software?

Pure cloud software — sometimes called Software-as-a-Service or SaaS — is a way of delivering applications, like Synergy, over the Internet as a subscription service. Pure cloud software is multi-tenanted, truly collaborative and built directly on a secure, cloud platform (like Microsoft Azure). This means there is only ever a single version of the software that is regularly updated by the provider for all users — nothing extra to do or pay.

 

Fake cloud is where software designed for on-premises use is hosted on a remote server and accessed through a browser front end. This is not pure cloud software. It requires maintenance to upgrade it, licenses for new users, it’s single tenancy (meaning a single set of data and no way to truly collaborate) and it is not scalable. If anyone asks you which version you’re on, you know it’s not pure cloud.

How secure is my data in the cloud?

Synergy’s cloud security is significantly stronger than any measures the average business would take to protect its own data. That’s because we develop Synergy on Microsoft Azure — a global cloud service platform with impeccable security and uptime credentials. When it comes to security, you really want the biggest and the best looking after you!

 

Microsoft Azure has the skills, experience and scale to make sure we can safely store, process and backup your data in one of the world’s securest online environments. Microsoft Azure is fully compliant with all the required security standards and protocols worldwide, its data centers feature military grade physical and cyber security, and all data is backed up in more than one geographic location. You will always own your own data.
