What makes a successful architecture or engineering practice? Spoiler: it's not just good design.

Built to Last is a boardroom lunch series created for leaders in architecture and engineering who want to go beyond the design conversation and focus on what it really takes to run and grow a thriving practice.

While most industry events spotlight projects and design, this series opens the floor to candid, peer-led conversations on the business of practice – from profitability and finance to people, process, risk and brand. Each session brings together two experienced speakers, sharing lived insights and lessons learned not from theory, but from experience. With a relaxed roundtable-style format, lunch is served alongside open Q&A, genuine dialogue, and practical takeaways you can put into action.
