Total Synergy, in association with our joint venture partner Strategic Growth for Enterprise, is pleased to present a unique event for built environment design professionals to learn practical approaches for stable business growth.
At this AEC industry event, Total Synergy CEO Scott Osborne and Strategic Growth for Enterprise (SGFE) founding director Nic Rixon will share practical, applicable insights, practices and models to help you structure your design-focused business to build growth.
Nic Rixon will introduce a macroeconomic theory which proves why businesses must be focused on unprecedented levels of market growth from 2021 to 2031 and what design professionals must do about it now. SGFE’s framework model will show how brand-led companies grow faster and how to prepare a ‘top-down’ strategy to jump your business.
Scott Osborne will share insights gleaned from 20 years of working with engineering, architecture and construction design practices to help improve how they do business and deliver projects. He will discuss what’s required in leadership and business structure to create and manage growth and will focus on common pitfalls that typically limit growth in design businesses along with ways to mitigate these.

As a successful entrepreneur who has built and sold companies in manufacturing, property, training and commercial design, Nic knows about the challenges of growing a successful business and managing people. He was one of the founding partners of Shirlaws and is now responsible for driving growth with SGFE.
In addition to consulting with hundreds of mid-tier businesses, he has worked with British Aerospace, Sony Pictures, HSBC, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Direct Selling Association and Legal & General. Nic has also been invited to deliver keynote presentations at numerous Business Schools in the UK and Europe on business strategy.
